Simply put, Xtreme Bootcamp is
the most challenging fun you can have!! It's one of the hardest
things you'll do, but will also be one of the most rewarding.
Results and progress are guaranteed, as long as you put in
the time and the work! Classes run MWF at 12:10pm and 7pm
for 6 week sessions with 2 week breaks in between at the South
Reno Athletic Club in Reno, NV. Each day is fun, with a TON
of energy, good mannered laughing and great camaraderie.
What can I expect to do in class?
Every day at XBootcamp is different,
fun, and intense. You will NEVER repeat a class that is exactly
like a class from the past. Some of the core moves may remain
the same, as these are important for your body, but each day
adds variety and challenge to your workout repertoire!! You
can expect to use dumbbells, tractor tires, sledge hammers,
medicine balls, plyometric boxes, weight sleds, BOSU balls,
heavy bags
..even rocks, logs, sand, and of course, your
own body weight
..and SO much more. Classes are nonstop
from start to finish with an emphasis on cardiovascular endurance,
as well as muscle endurance and core strength.
What happens if I can't keep up?
Everybody can keep up! XBootcamp will
push you just above and beyond what you think you can do so
you can keep pushing your limits every day. As long as you're
always improving, no matter how slowly, you'll always be progressing
towards a better you!!
Tell me about the Fit Test
On the first and last days of each
session, you'll go thru an intense and, I'll admit it, HARD
workout. The first day is designed to push you WAY past what
you think your max level of performance is, these days are
generally timed and recorded. On the last day of class, we
do the exact same workout so you can compare your results
and see just how far you've come!!
What kinds of results can I expect?
XBootcampers gain lean muscle, improve
cardiovascular endurance, improve core strength, correct muscle
imbalances, lose body fat and, most importantly, gain confidence
in themselves and their abilities.
How much does it cost?
XBootcamp costs $149 for SRAC members
and $199 for non-members. This includes an XBootcamp t shirt
so you can sport your wares and show off your pride.
When is Xtreme Bootcamp?
XB runs MWF at noon and 7pm. Sessions
run generally 6 weeks on followed by a 2 week break. There
may be variations in scheduling due to holidays and other
circumstances, but you can bank on the times being pretty
regular other than that!
